Merkmale

Foleyella teilt die Merkmale der Splendidofilariinae. Die Kutikula ist ohne Höcker. Der Ösophagus ist ungeteilt und kurz. Manchmal sind Seitenflügel ausgebildet. Die Spicula sind kurz und ungleich groß oder verlängert und zart. Die Vulva liegt in der Region des Ösophagus.cite-ref-anderson-2-1[2]

Foleyella ist eine der drei Gattungen der Tribus Lorini innerhalb der Splendidofilariinae.cite-ref-hodda-1-1[1] Das Interim Register of Marine and Nonmarine Genera weist folgende Arten aus:cite-ref-irmng-3-0[3]
